Peddle is a pretty big company that you may never heard of… Peddle buys junk cars from people and makes it remarkably easy. If you have a car that is headed to the junkyard, and you want to make it easy. Work with Peddle.

During the purchasing funnel, Peddle determine how much your car is worth and then make an offer. After that, a tow truck driver who contracts with Peddle will drive to your house, take your car and cut you a check. They make it very easy to sell your junk car.

Aside from consulting on the purchasing funnel UX flow that Raw Materials was building, I led and helped develop their data science capabilities. We built Peddle's entire data system: Snowflake for data warehousing, Snowplow for event tracking, Google Analytics for web analytics, custom dashboards showing business-critical metrics.

This wasn't just tracking page views. We built a system that showed where users dropped off in the selling flow, which marketing channels produced quality leads, conversion rates by customer segment, pricing optimization opportunities, regional performance variations.

The other aspect of our work was getting Peddle's new data ramped on the work that we did, and also support some of their work... We were able to cleanly hand off our work to their new team. They went from 1 to 3 people while we were working with them. Its enjoyable to see a new team run with the work that you've done.

Soon, Peddle could make data-driven decisions about where to invest, what to optimize, and how to grow, all while better serving their customers.
